disposition, n. 1. a general quality of mind: an unhappy disposition. 2. a mental or physical tendency; willingness. 3. an arrangement, as of soldiers or buildings. 4. the final settlement of a matter. 5. giving away or selling: disposition of a property. 6. the power to dispose of a thing; control: left under his disposition.
